Courtney Sykes is the Founder and Chief Administrative Officer of Southeastern Esthetics Institute - and a Licensed Esthetics Instructor in South Carolina. Her passion lies in creating real change in the esthetics industry, assisting her students to obtain gainful employment and make a difference in the lives of their clients. Sykes specializes in a science-based approach to skin health and education. Her primary focus is chemical peels, laser treatments, eyelash extensions, micropigmentation, and cosmetic lasers. Her background in medical spa management - as well as her love of sciences and the arts, has led her to nationally accredit the largest wellness education facility in South Carolina, Southeastern Esthetics Institute. Southeastern Esthetics Institute now boasts multiple programs in Cosmetology, Esthetics, Nail Technology, Massage Therapy, and Clinical Medical Assistant. Southeastern Esthetics Institute is nationally accredited through the Commission on Higher Education - and its governing agencies consist of the U.S. Department of Education, U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, the SC LLR Board of Cosmetology, and the SC Commission on Higher Education. Southeastern Esthetics Institute additionally opened a DSS licensed childcare facility for its staff and students in 2024 as well as a DHEC approved Cafeteria in 2023.
